Appreciation For Bill Beckett By Dave Beacher I was saddened to hear of Bill's passing, but it was a real pleasure to know him, even though it is many years ago. Perhaps my abiding memory is when he came to visit us in Hull on the motorbike and sidecar before the M62 was built! It must have ben an epic journey. Such were the personalities of both Bill and Anne that those days and they will never be forgotten. I apologise for not being able to attend the funeral.
